About Laurel Brody, Licensed Acupuncturist

Laurel has been studying Chinese Medicine since 1978.  She graduated from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and received her California license and National Certification in 1986.  Laurel has been an Acupuncturist for 30 years.  Laurel considers healing sacred and brings that awareness and reverence to her work.  

She has worked in clinics with Chiropractors and other healers for over 15 years which has given her a strong foundation in understanding and treating soft tissue and musculo-skeletal injuries, as well as pain management.

Having a home birth just as she began her practice, led her to become a doula and midwives assistant.  She has attended more than 150 births in Bay Area hospitals, clinics and homes.  As a senior practitioner, Laurel has many strong ties to the birthing community in Sonoma County.  She specializes in women’s health: turning breech babies, labor induction, fertility, pregnancy, gynecological, and menopausal related issues.

Laurel provides healing for both women and men in her practice and can address whatever ails you: anxiety, allergies, fatigue, insomnia, immune health and cancer support.
